Description
COOMASSIE FAST BLACK G is a synthetic dye characterized by its black color. It is soluble in water, resulting in a dark purple hue, and in ethanol, it appears as a red light blue. When exposed to strong sulfuric acid, it turns blue-ray black, and when diluted, it becomes green-blue. The dye solution turns turquoise blue when mixed with strong hydrochloric acid, and adding a thick sodium hydroxide solution results in a sauce red precipitate. This dye is suitable for wool dyeing and printing, as well as for leather shading.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
COOMASSIE FAST BLACK G is used as a dye for wool dyeing and printing due to its ability to produce a dark purple color in water and a red light blue color in ethanol. Its compatibility with strong acids and bases makes it suitable for various dyeing processes.
Used in Leather Industry:
COOMASSIE FAST BLACK G is used for leather shading, providing a deep and rich color to the material. Its solubility in water and ethanol, as well as its reaction with strong acids and bases, allows for versatile application methods in the leather industry.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 10142-78-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,0,1,4 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 10142-78:
(7*1)+(6*0)+(5*1)+(4*4)+(3*2)+(2*7)+(1*8)=56
56 % 10 = 6
So 10142-78-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
