Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 105784-82-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,5,7,8 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 105784-82:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*5)+(5*7)+(4*8)+(3*4)+(2*8)+(1*2)=135
135 % 10 = 5
So 105784-82-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Several 5-alkyl (or halo)-3′-azido (amino or halo) analogs of pyrimidine nucleosides have been synthesized and evaluated against Mycobacterium bovis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium. Among these compounds, 3′-azido-5-ethyl-2′,3′-dideoxyuridine (3) was found to have significant antimycobacterial activities against M. bovis (MIC 50 = 1 μg/mL), M. tuberculosis (MIC50 = 10 μg/mL) and M. avium (MIC50 = 10 μg/mL).
