Description

Lead Titanate, also known as Lead Metatitanate (PbTiO3), is a chemical compound that forms yellow tetragonal crystals below 490 °C and cubic crystals above 490 °C. It is insoluble in water and decomposes into PbCl2 and TiO2 in hydrochloric acid. Lead Titanate can be synthesized by calcining an equimolecular mixture of lead monoxide and titanium dioxide.
