Uses

Used in OLED and QD-LED Applications:
3-(Biphenyl-4-yl)-5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-4-phenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole is used as an electron transporter and hole blocker material for blue phosphorescent OLEDs (PhOLEDs) and QD-LEDs. Its high triplet energy level helps confine the triplet excitons within the emissive layer, while its low HOMO/LUMO energy level is beneficial for blocking holes and facilitating electron injection/transport, thereby enhancing the device performance.
