It belongs to the amide class of herbicides and works by disrupting the growth and development of unwanted plants. 2,4-DIFLUORO-N-METHOXY-N-METHYLBENZAMIDE is effective against a wide range of broadleaf weeds and is often used in combination with other herbicides to improve its efficacy. It is typically applied as a spray or as a granular formulation and should be used with caution due to its potential for environmental persistence and toxicity to non-target organisms. Additionally, 2,4-DIFLUORO-N-METHOXY-N-METHYLBENZAMIDE has shown some potential for human health risks, so it is important to follow safety guidelines and regulations when handling and applying this chemical.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 198967-25-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,9,8,9,6 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 198967-25:
(8*1)+(7*9)+(6*8)+(5*9)+(4*6)+(3*7)+(2*2)+(1*5)=218
218 % 10 = 8
So 198967-25-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
