General Description
1-CHLORO-1,1-DIFLUORO-2,4-PENTANEDIONE, also known as 1,1-difluoro-1-chloro-2,4-pentadione or DFPD, is a chemical compound that is widely used in industry as a precursor to a variety of fluorinated compounds. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor, and it is highly reactive due to the presence of the electronegative chlorine and fluorine atoms. DFPD is commonly used as a building block to create specialty polymers, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural chemicals. It is also used in the production of refrigerants, solvents, and surfactants. However, DFPD is considered a hazardous chemical and should be handled with care due to its potential health and environmental risks.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 2375-76-0 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 2,3,7 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 2375-76:
(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*5)+(2*7)+(1*6)=90
90 % 10 = 0
So 2375-76-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Difluoromethyl-containing heteroannulated pyridines, pyrimidines and pyrazoles are prepared by a two step method. The regioselective cyclizations of electron-excessive aminoheterocycles, hydrazines and amidines with CF 2Cl-substituted 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds provide the corresponding CF2Cl-substituted heterocycles. Subsequent radical reactions with trimethylstannane or allyltrimethylstannane gave difluoromethyl-containing heteroannulated pyridines, pyrimidines and pyrazoles, respectively.
