Description

POLY(1,4-PHENYLENE SULFIDE) is a strong, stiff, and somewhat brittle material known for its exceptional thermal stability, good electrical insulation properties, and excellent resistance to solvents, acids, and alkalis, except concentrated sulfuric acid. It is generally processed as a crystalline material due to its high glass-transition temperature (Tg = 90°C), and heated molds are used in its processing.
