Biological Functions
Albiflorin is a natural product isolated from Paeoniae Radix. It enhances mitochondrial function to suppress antimycin A-induced oxidative damage via the preservation of cytochrome c and cardiolipin. Also it may reduce or prevent osteoblast degeneration in osteoporosis.
Biological Activity
Albiflorin is a natural phenolic compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of toll-like receptor (TLR) 4.
in vitro
Albiflorin can modulate the TLR-induced inflammatory response by inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α. This compound also inhibits matrix metalloproteinase activity in tubulointerstitial injury, leading to decreased interstitial inflammation and proteinuria. Albiflorin has been shown to be effective at low doses in experimental models of rheumatoid arthritis. It is believed that this effect may be due to its ability to inhibit TLR4 expression or activation.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 39011-90-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 3,9,0,1 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 39011-90:
(7*3)+(6*9)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*1)+(2*9)+(1*0)=100
100 % 10 = 0
So 39011-90-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
