A single-step emulsion approach to prepare fluorescent nanoscale coordination polymers for bioimaging
Sun, Zhiyong,Li, Yangxue,Guan, Xingang,Sun, Tingting,Chen, Li,Xie, Zhigang,Jing, Xiabin
, p. 14803 - 14806 (2014)
A crystalline nanoscale coordination polymer (NCP) based on fluorene and Zr4+ was synthesized through a simple microemulsion method. The emulsion method is facile and convenient for NCP production, the nanoparticles are fluorescent and thermal-
Nanoscale light-harvesting metal-organic frameworks

supporting information; experimental part, p. 5729 - 5733 (2011/08/07)
Highly crystalline nanoparticles of metal-organic frameworks with efficient light-harvesting properties were prepared by coordination-directed assembly (see picture). Functionalization of the ligands with long alkyl chains effectively stabilizes the nanoparticles and increases crystallinity. Different metal ions and ligands are organized into single nanoparticles and both organic acceptors and lanthanide ions can be co-sensitized within the frameworks. Copyright
Twin probes as a novel tool for the detection of single-nucleotide polymorphisms
Ergen, Erhan,Weber, Markus,Jacob, Josemon,Herrmann, Andreas,Muellen, Klaus
, p. 3707 - 3713 (2008/02/06)
Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are the most common form of DNA sequence variation. There is a strong interest from both academy and industry to develop rapid, sensitive and cost effective methods for SNP detection. Here we report a novel structura
