42471-56-7 Usage

Uses

2-(2-Aminobenzoyl)pyridine, is an intermediate used for the synthesis of various Quinoline derivatives. It can also be used in the synthesis of the antitumoral agent batracylin and related isoindolo[1,2-b]quinazolin-12(10H)-ones.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 42471-56-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 4,2,4,7 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 42471-56:
(7*4)+(6*2)+(5*4)+(4*7)+(3*1)+(2*5)+(1*6)=107
107 % 10 = 7
So 42471-56-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information, p. 9910 - 9913 (2014/08/18)

Vicinal diamines constitute one the most important functional motif in organic chemistry because of its wide occurrence in a variety of biological and pharmaceutical molecules. We report an efficient metal-free, highly stereoselective intramolecular diamination using a novel chiral hypervalent iodine reagent together with its application as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of diamines.

AMIDE DERIVATIVES AS SIRTUIN MODULATORS

-

Page/Page column 85, (2009/06/27)

Provided herein are novel sirtuin-modulating compounds represented by Structural Formula (I) and methods of use thereof. The sirtuin-modulating compounds may be used for increasing the lifespan of a cell, and treating and/or preventing a wide variety of diseases and disorders including, for example, diseases or disorders related to aging or stress, diabetes, obesity, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease, blood clotting disorders, inflammation, cancer, and/or flushing as well as diseases or disorders that would benfit from increased mitochondrial activity. Also provided are compositions comprising a sirtuin- modulating compound in combination with another therapeutic agent.
