General Description

2-Chlorothiazole-5-carbonitrile is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C4H2ClN3S. It is a heterocyclic compound that contains a thiazole ring with a chlorine atom and a cyano group attached at the 2 and 5 positions, respectively. 2-CHLOROTHIAZOLE-5-CARBONITRILE is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of various pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. It is also a building block in the preparation of other thiazole derivatives. 2-Chlorothiazole-5-carbonitrile is commercially available and is used in research and development processes for the production of diverse chemical products.
