9025-64-3 Usage

Description

Deoxyribonuclease II, also known as DNase II, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the degradation and processing of DNA. It is found in various organisms, including bovine and porcine spleens, and has been extensively studied for its potential applications in various fields.

Uses

Used in Immunology Research:
Deoxyribonuclease II from bovine spleen is used as a component of digestion mix for the isolation of immune cells from colon samples. This allows researchers to study the immune response in the colon and gain insights into various immune-related conditions.
Used in Cell Biology:
Deoxyribonuclease II from bovine spleen is used to digest retinal explants for single-cell suspension preparation. This technique enables researchers to study the properties and functions of individual cells in the retina, which can be crucial for understanding eye diseases and developing potential treatments.
Used in Tissue Engineering:
Deoxyribonuclease II from bovine spleen is used for the isolation of stromal cells from human colon tissue. This process is essential for tissue engineering applications, where stromal cells can be used to regenerate damaged or diseased tissues.
Used in Cardiac Research:
Deoxyribonuclease II from bovine spleen is used in the dissociation medium during the preparation of embryonic cardiac myocytes from rat heart. This allows researchers to study the development and function of cardiac myocytes, which can contribute to the understanding of heart diseases and the development of new therapies.
Used in Immunohistology:
Deoxyribonuclease II from porcine spleen is used in an immunohistological study of the immune system cells in paraffin-embedded tissues. This application helps researchers visualize and analyze the distribution and characteristics of immune cells within tissues, providing valuable information for the study of immune responses and diseases.
Used in Lysosomal Research:
Deoxyribonuclease II from porcine spleen has been used in a study to investigate its reassociation with the lysosomal membrane. This research can provide insights into the role of DNase II in the lysosomal function and its potential involvement in various cellular processes and diseases.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Deoxyribonuclease II, also called as acid DNAse, hydrolyzes deoxyribonucleotide linkages in native and denatured DNA yielding products with 3′-phosphates. in vitro, its optimum pH range is 4.5 - 5.0. It also acts upon p-nitrophenyl-phosphodiesters at pH 5.6 - 5.9. The molecular weight is approximately 38,000 Da.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 9025-64-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 9,0,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 9025-64:
(6*9)+(5*0)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*6)+(1*4)=93
93 % 10 = 3
So 9025-64-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
