94148-67-1 Usage
General Description
1,4-Bis(4-aminophenoxy)-2-phenylbenzene, also known as Bisphenol A (BPA), is an organic chemical compound commonly used in the production of plastics and epoxy resins. It is a known endocrine disruptor, and exposure to BPA has been linked to several adverse health effects, including reproductive and developmental issues, increased risk of certain cancers, and potential effects on the brain and behavior. BPA can leach out of plastic food and beverage containers, increasing the risk of human exposure. As a result, there has been increasing concern about the safety of BPA and efforts to find alternative, safer chemicals for use in manufacturing.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 94148-67-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,4,1,4 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 94148-67:
(7*9)+(6*4)+(5*1)+(4*4)+(3*8)+(2*6)+(1*7)=151
151 % 10 = 1
So 94148-67-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Melt-fusible polyimides
-
, (2008/06/13)
Melt-fusible polyimides based on pyromellitic dianhydride and at least one defined aromatic diamine are useful in making low-void composites and thermoplastic tapes, which can be fabricated into articles such as, for example, aircraft and autobody panels, printed circuit boards, etc. Some of these polyimides are melt-processible and can be fabricated by conventional procedures such as extrusion and injection molding.
