Production method of this chemical: The [1,1'-Binaphthalene]-2,2'-dithiol could be obtained by the reactant of 2,2'-Bis-(N,N-Dimethylcarbamoyl-thio)-1,1'-binaphtyl. This reaction needs the reagent of KOH, and the solvents of methanol and tetrahydrofuran. The yield is 92 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 5 hours. The other condition is heating.

The [1,1'-Binaphthalene]-2,2'-dithiol could be obtained by the reactant of 2,2'-Bis-(N,N-Dimethylcarbamoyl-thio)-1,1'-binaphtyl.

Uses of this chemical: The Dinaphtho[2,1-d:1',2'-g][1,4]dithiocine could be obtained by the reactants of cis-1,2-dichloro-ethene and [1,1'-Binaphthalene]-2,2'-dithiol. This reaction needs the reagent of Na, and the solvent of ethanol. The yield is 93 %. This reaction should be taken for 5 hours at the temperature of 78 °C.

The Dinaphtho[2,1-d:1',2'-g][1,4]dithiocine could be obtained by the reactants of cis-1,2-dichloro-ethene and [1,1'-Binaphthalene]-2,2'-dithiol.
