Production method of this chemical: The [2,2'-Bipyridine]-4-carboxylicacid, 6-bromo- and 6-Bromo-[2,2']bipyridinyl-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester could be obtained by the reactants of 2,6-Dibromo-isonicotinic acid ethyl ester and Pyridyl-(2)-tributylzinn. This reaction needs the catalyst of (Ph3Ph)4Pd, and the solvent of toluene. The yield is 38 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 16 hours at the temperature of 110 °C.

The [2,2'-Bipyridine]-4-carboxylicacid, 6-bromo- and 6-Bromo-[2,2']bipyridinyl-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester could be obtained by the reactants of 2,6-Dibromo-isonicotinic acid ethyl ester and Pyridyl-(2)-tributylzinn.
