Uses of this chemical: The Octadecanoic acid, hydrazide could react with propan-2-ol, and obtain the stearic acid isopropyl ester. This reaction needs the reagent of Oxone (2KHSO₅*KHSO₄*K₂SO₄). The yield is 82 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 3 hours at the temperature of 20 °C.
