Traditionally, Mucuna pruriens find use in number of diseases and is commonly used as carminative,hypotensive & hypoglycemic agent.
Mucuna pruriens was confirmed the efficacy of the seeds in the management of Parkinson disease by virtue of their L-Dopa content. Mucuna pruriens, recognized as an aphrodisiac in Ayurveda, has been shown to increase testosterone levels, leading to deposition of protein in the muscles and increased muscle mass and strength. The extract is also known to enhance mental alertness and improve coordination.

Dosage:
Experts suggested 10 % L-dopa extract was recommended 300 - 600 mg daily with three meals.
