Methyl Cellulose, taking natural polymer cellulose as raw material, is noninoic cellulose ether produced through a series of chemical reactions. It is the water soluble polymer.

Methyl cellulose, the ivory to white granular powder, is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic. It can be soluble in water and some organic solvents to become a transparent viscous solution. It has the function of thickening, binding, dispersiving, emulsifying, film-forming, suspending, adsorbing, gelling, surface activity, water maintaining, colloid protection.
