1031602-63-7 Usage
Description
UNC3230 is a small molecule inhibitor of Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type-1 γ (PIP5K1C), a lipid kinase that generates phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) in nociceptive dorsal root ganglia (DRG). It has an IC50 of 41 nM and a Kd of 51 nM, and it does not inhibit any other lipid kinases that regulate phosphoinositide levels, including phosphatidylinositol 3-kinases.
Uses
Used in Pain Management:
UNC3230 is used as an antinociceptive agent for the management of chronic pain. At 2 nM, it displays antinociceptive effects in mouse models of chronic pain when administered intrathecally or injected into the inflamed hindpaw.
Used in Neurobiology Research:
UNC3230 is used as a research tool for studying the role of PIP5K1C in pain sensitization and other signaling pathways. At 100 nM, it decreases PIP2 membrane levels in cultured DRG neurons by 45% and significantly reduces calcium signaling, providing valuable insights into the mechanisms of pain regulation.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1031602-63-7 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,0,3,1,6,0 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1031602-63:
(9*1)+(8*0)+(7*3)+(6*1)+(5*6)+(4*0)+(3*2)+(2*6)+(1*3)=87
87 % 10 = 7
So 1031602-63-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
