The simultaneous N-acylation and O-carbamoylation of amino alcohols can be realized by means of carboxylic acid azides with differential heating in dioxane. The simultaneous N,O-dicarbamoylation of amino alcohols takes place in their reaction with an excess of some carboxylic acid azides in boiling dioxane.
