POLYBROMOPENTADIENES IN DIENE SYNTHESIS REACTIONS. V. REACTIVITY OF HEXABROMO-1,3-CYCLOPENTADIENE IN THE DIENE SYNTHESIS REACTION WITH N-PHENYLACRYLAMIDES

The reactivity of hexabromo-1,3-cyclopentadiene in the diene synthesis reaction with N-phenylacrylamides was studied.Donating and accepting substituents in the N-phenylacrylamides accelerate the reaction; the variation in the reactivity of the addends is consistent with the "neutral" type of diene synthesis reaction.The respective reaction products were obtained and characterized.
