Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1115867-62-3 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,1,1,5,8,6 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1115867-62:
(9*1)+(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*8)+(4*6)+(3*7)+(2*6)+(1*2)=153
153 % 10 = 3
So 1115867-62-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Structure-activity relationship studies on rhodamine B-based fluorogenic probes and their activation by anticancer platinum(II) compounds

Ong, Jun Xiang,Yap, Jian Yu,Yap, Siew Qi,Ang, Wee Han

, p. 272 - 278 (2015)

Fluorescence microscopy has emerged as an attractive technique for imaging intracellular Pt species arising from exposure to clinical anticancer drugs such as cisplatin. A rhodamine-B based fluorogenic probe termed Rho-DDTC can be activated selectively in the presence of Pt(II) compounds, and possesses the ability to discriminate Pt(II) species from Pt(IV) carboxylate prodrug complexes, thereby providing a unique platform to investigate the reduction of these Pt(IV) complexes after cell entry. In this report, we seek to establish the mechanism of activation of Rho-DDTC through a structure-activity relationship study on its structural analogues.

A dual functional probe for "turn-on" fluorescence response of Pb2+ and colorimetric detection of Cu2+ based on a rhodamine derivative in aqueous media

Li, Min,Jiang, Xiu-Juan,Wu, Hui-Hui,Lu, Hong-Lin,Li, Hai-Yang,Xu, Hong,Zang, Shuang-Quan,Mak, Thomas C. W.

, p. 17326 - 17334 (2015)

A dual functional probe L based on rhodamine was devised and synthesized. Probe L can sense Pb2+ and Cu2+ in aqueous solution through two approaches: a significant fluorescence enhancement caused by Pb2+ and a visible color change from colorless to orchid induced by Cu2+. Competitive experiments showed that probe L had high fluorescence sensitivity for Pb2+ and excellent colorimetric selectivity for Cu2+ over many environmentally relevant ions. The mechanisms of L for sensing Pb2+ and Cu2+ have been well demonstrated by ESI-MS, 1H NMR titration, IR, the crystal structure of L-Pb2+ and density functional theory calculation of L-Cu2+. In addition, fluorescence image detection of Pb2+ in living cells displayed an enhanced fluorescence effect.

Hg2+-selective dual signaling probe based on a thio-functionalized rhodamine B hydroxamic acid

Jeong, Yong Ae,Choi, Jiyoung,Chang, Suk-Kyu

, p. 4919 - 4922 (2015)

Abstract A new Hg2+-selective signaling system based on a thio-functionalized rhodamine B hydroxamic acid was investigated. A thio-analogue of rhodamine B hydroxamic acid had a distinct Hg2+-selective signaling behavior in aqueous solution, whereas its parent hydroxamic acid was completely unreactive toward any metal ions. Selective chromogenic and fluorogenic signaling of Hg2+ by the thio-functionalized rhodamine B hydroxamic acid in aqueous solution was possible with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10-6 M. Hg2+ determination based on paper test strips was conducted as a practical application.

A fluorescent probe for investigating the activation of anticancer platinum(IV) prodrugs based on the cisplatin scaffold

Montagner, Diego,Yap, Siew Qi,Ang, Wee Han

, p. 11785 - 11789 (2013)

Watching closely: A fluorescent probe was engineered to detect the clinically relevant platinum drug cisplatin within a complex cellular environment, thus providing a direct means for visualizing its cell entry and the activation of platinum(IV) prodrugs in cancer cells. Copyright

A six-membered-ring incorporated Si-rhodamine for imaging of copper(II) in lysosomes

Wang, Baogang,Cui, Xiaoyan,Zhang, Zhiqiang,Chai, Xiaoyun,Ding, Hao,Wu, Qiuye,Guo, Zhongwu,Wang, Ting

, p. 6720 - 6728 (2016)

The regulation of copper homeostasis in lysosomes of living cells is closely related to various physiological and pathological processes. Thus, it is of urgent need to develop a fluorescent probe for selectively and sensitively monitoring the location and

Fluorescent probes based on O-glycoside, and synthetic methods and application thereof

-

, (2018/05/16)

The invention discloses fluorescent probes based on O-glycoside, and synthetic methods and application thereof. The fluorescent probes are prepared through four-step reactions, and the synthetic methods have the characteristics of usage of cheap and easily available reaction raw materials, few reaction steps, high yield, etc. The invention discloses a plurality of purposes of the fluorescent probes based on O-glycoside, including 1, detection of iron ions on the basis of the characteristic that the fluorescent probes are of spiro structures and have no fluorescence, but emits strong red fluorescence after addition of iron ions; 2, detection of a Job's Plot curve which is utilized for analyzing the bonding ratios of the probes to iron ions; and 3, ionic competition experiments, which are used for detection of the competitiveness of the probes in the presence of a plurality of other common cations.
