Phosphonic acid, (1,1-difluoro-2,3-butadienyl)-, diethyl ester, also known as 2,3-Difluoromethylidene-1,1-bis(phosphonic acid) diethyl ester, is a chemical compound with the formula C6H10F2O3P2. It is a colorless liquid that is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Phosphonic acid, (1,1-difluoro-2,3-butadienyl)-, diethyl ester is also used as a building block for the preparation of various organic compounds. It is an important reagent in organic and medicinal chemistry due to its ability to form carbon-phosphorus bonds.
