The invention discloses an iridium bipyridine complex and a synthetic method thereof, and an application of the iridium bipyridine complex in a DNA nanometer drug-carrier system. In order to further reinforce the killing effect of the iridium bipyridine complex on tumor cells, the invention constructs a DNA nanometer carrier with vasculogenic mimicry targeting to load the iridium bipyridine complex, so the targeting of the iridium bipyridine complex to vasculogenic mimicry is effectively improved; meanwhile, the efficiency of a drug entering tumor cell nucleus is enhanced; and the anti-tumor effect of the drug is finally improved.
