Usage

General Description

N-(2-Cyanoethyl)-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-m-toluidine is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C11H15N3O. It is a derivative of m-toluidine, which is a substituted aromatic amine. This chemical is commonly used as a curing agent in the production of epoxy resins, as it helps to improve the mechanical properties and chemical resistance of the resins. It is also used as a raw material in the production of dyes and pigments. However, N-(2-cyanoethyl)-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-m-toluidine is considered to be toxic and may cause skin and eye irritation, as well as respiratory and gastrointestinal problems, so proper safety measures should be taken when handling this chemical.
