Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12014-29-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,0,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12014-29:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*2)+(1*9)=48
48 % 10 = 8
So 12014-29-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

ON THE IDENTIFICATION OF NEW AND NORMAL PHASES IN THE SYSTEM OF CADMIUM-ANTIMONY ALLOYS.
Mohamed,Saleh,Abou-Saif,Abd-Rabo,El-Ganainy
, p. 705 - 716 (1983)
A set of samples of concentrations with 7, 20, 37, 48, 50, 52, and 70 at% Sb were prepared. X-ray diffraction analysis shows a metastable phase not previously identified. This phase is given the chemical formula Cd//5Sb//4 and a unit cell of orthorhombic shape with dimensions of 0. 7309, 0. 5427, and 0. 506 nm for a, b, and c, respectively. The other phases Cd, Sb, CdCb, and Cd//4Sb//3 are identified in both quenched and annealed samples. Contradictions in the phase diagram are discussed.

, p. 920 - 929 (2008/10/08)
The potentialities of optical, photoelectric, anisotropic thermoelectric, and optothermoelectric cadmium antimonide materials are considered. We describe designs of apparatuses, physicochemical features of preparation procedures, approaches used for optimization, and properties of particular materials. Cadmium antimonide materials find many practical applications in new optical, thermometric, and other instruments, devices, and components.
