1217603-41-2 Usage
General Description
FMoc-(S)-2-amino-3-hydroxy-3-methylbutanoic acid is a chemical compound used in the synthesis of peptides and proteins. It is a derivative of the natural amino acid threonine, with an added FMoc (9-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl) protective group for the amino group. FMoc-(S)-2-aMino-3-hydroxy-3-Methylbutanoic acid is commonly used in solid-phase peptide synthesis due to its stability and ability to selectively protect the hydroxyl and amino groups during the synthesis process. It is also used in the development of pharmaceuticals, as well as in biochemical and biotechnological research. Overall, FMoc-(S)-2-amino-3-hydroxy-3-methylbutanoic acid plays a crucial role in the production of complex peptides and proteins for various applications.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1217603-41-2 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,1,7,6,0 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1217603-41:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*0)+(3*3)+(2*4)+(1*1)=122
122 % 10 = 2
So 1217603-41-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 1281 - 1291 (2021/01/14)
A gold-catalyzed N,O-acetal formation was established to construct an amide/carbamate-linked N,O-acetal substructure with bulky alcohols. The acyliminium cation species generated from o-alkynylbenzoic acid ester in the presence of a gold catalyst is highly reactive and underwent nucleophilic attack of various bulky alcohols and phenols at room temperature under neutral conditions, leading to the corresponding N,O-acetals in yields of 34-89% with good functional group tolerance.
