Description
Reactive Orange 14 is a bright yellow-orange dye that is commonly used in the dyeing of fabrics and screening of inulin-degrading microorganisms. It is an orange powder with a water solubility of 60 g/L at 20°C and 130 g/L at 50°C. After dyeing, it produces a colorful yellow-orange shade, and the presence of metal ions can cause the color to turn green.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12225-86-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,2,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12225-86:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*6)=74
74 % 10 = 4
So 12225-86-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
