12236-02-1 Usage
Description
Disperse Orange 32 is a bright yellow orange dye that is available as a brown powder and is soluble in acetone. It is used in the dyeing process and is particularly affected by the presence of iron ions, while magnesium ions have no influence and calcium and copper ions have a slight influence. The appropriate pH value for dyeing with Disperse Orange 32 is between 4 and 8. It is suitable for high temperature and high pressure dyeing methods, as well as hot melt dyeing method, but the carrier dyeing effect is poorer. The dyeing levelness is also poorer, and the dye depth is medium. Disperse Orange 32 is not suitable for dyeing two types of fibers, polyamide fiber, and acrylic, and the dyed fiber can only be dyed with a light color. It can be used for direct polyester fabric printing, but it should not be used for discharge printing.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Disperse Orange 32 is used as a dye for synthetic fibers such as polyester, acetate, and triacetate. It is particularly effective for high temperature and high pressure dyeing methods, as well as hot melt dyeing method. However, the carrier dyeing effect is poorer and the dyeing levelness is also poorer.
Used in Printing Industry:
Disperse Orange 32 can be used for direct polyester fabric printing. However, it should not be used for discharge printing.
Standard:
Disperse Orange 32 has been tested for various fastness properties, including ironing fastness, light fastness, perspiration fastness, and washing fastness. The results are as follows:
Ironing Fastness: AATCC 4-5, ISO 4-5
Light Fastness: AATCC 4-5, ISO 4-5
Perspiration Fastness: AATCC 7, ISO 5
Washing Fastness: AATCC 5, ISO 5
Fading and staining are also evaluated, with the results as follows:
Fading: AATCC 4-5, ISO 5
Staining: AATCC 5, ISO 5
These standards and test results provide information on the performance and suitability of Disperse Orange 32 for various applications in the textile and printing industries.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 12236-02-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,2,3 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12236-02:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*2)+(4*3)+(3*6)+(2*0)+(1*2)=61
61 % 10 = 1
So 12236-02-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
