Description
SteMRegenin 1, also known as SR1, is a cell-permeable purine compound that functions as a high affinity AhR (arylhydrocarbon receptor) antagonist. It is effective in extending the pluripotency of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) by antagonizing the arylhydrocarbon receptor, with an IC50 of 127 nM. SteMRegenin 1 is reactive towards human, monkey, and canine species but not rat or murine. The compound has a dose-dependent and reversible effect on CD34-negative cells, enhancing proliferation at low doses and repressing it at high doses.
Uses
Used in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Expansion:
SteMRegenin 1 is used as an AhR antagonist for the expansion and maintenance of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in long-term proliferating/expanding cultures. It enhances and sustains the CD34+ population in serum-free media containing various growth factors, such as Tpo, SCF, Flt3 Ligand, and IL-6.
Used in Immuno-oncology Studies:
SteMRegenin 1 is used as a tool for generating progenitor T cells and natural killer (NK) cells from hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). These cells can be utilized in immuno-oncology research to study the immune response against cancer and develop novel therapeutic strategies.
Used in Drug Discovery and Development:
SteMRegenin 1 serves as a valuable compound in the development of new drugs targeting the arylhydrocarbon receptor. Its high affinity and selectivity for AhR make it a promising candidate for further research and potential therapeutic applications in various diseases, including cancer and immune disorders.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1227633-49-9 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,2,2,7,6,3 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1227633-49:
(9*1)+(8*2)+(7*2)+(6*7)+(5*6)+(4*3)+(3*3)+(2*4)+(1*9)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 1227633-49-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
