New experimental results and improvement of the modelization of the (Ga,Mg) system
Notin,Belbacha,Charles,Hertz
, p. 25 - 38 (1991)
Differential enthalpic analysis gave solidus and liquidus lines of the phase diagram. MgGa melts congruently; Mg2Ga is a stoichiometric compound; MgGa2 melts incongruently. The melting enthalpies of all the compounds were measured. A new numerical optimization of the thermodynamic properties was established using the NANCYUN program (Legendre polynomials), with all the known data. A consistent set of values in agreement with all the data (except one) is presented.
YMgGa as a hydrogen storage compound
Sahlberg, Martin,Zlotea, Claudia,Moretto, Pietro,Andersson, Yvonne
, p. 1833 - 1837 (2009)
The hydrogen absorption and desorption properties of the recently found ternary phase YMgGa have been studied. This compound absorbs 2.2 wt% hydrogen during the first cycle, but only 1.1 wt% can be stored reversibly for the following cycles under the appl
