Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 13222-45-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,3,2,2 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 13222-45:
(7*1)+(6*3)+(5*2)+(4*2)+(3*2)+(2*4)+(1*5)=62
62 % 10 = 2
So 13222-45-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

How trimethyl(trifluoromethyl)silane reacts with itself in the presence of naked fluoride - A one-pot synthesis of bis([15]crown-5)cesium 1,1,1,3,5,5,5,-heptafluoro-2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)pentenide

Tyrra, Wieland,Kremlev, Mikhail M.,Naumann, Dieter,Scherer, Harald,Schmidt, Harald,Hoge, Berthold,Pantenburg, Ingo,Yagupolskii, Yurii L.

, p. 6514 - 6518 (2005)

Reactions of trimethyl(trifluoromethyl)silane in the presence of "naked" fluoride proceed up to a temperature of +5°C mainly with formation of [Me3Si(CF3)2]. A further rise of temperature up to about 20°C gives evidence for the formation of a salt with the 1,1,1,2,3,6,6,6-octafluoro2,4,4,5,5-pentakis(trifluoromethyl)hexan-3-ide anion. This intermediate decomposes at room temperature into the 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptafluoro-2,4-bis(trifluoromethyl)pentenide anion. The bis([15]crown-5)cesium salt, [Cs([15]crown-5)2] [(CF 3)2CCFC(CF3)2] has been characterized unambiguously as the stable final product of this reaction sequence. Thermal decomposition of this salt opens a convenient nontoxic route to obtain 1,1,3,3-tetrakis(trifluoromethyl)allene, (F3C) 2C=C=C(CF3)2.

Cyclopropene Chemistry. Part 1. Preparation and Some Reactions of 3,3-Dichloro-1,2-bistrifluoromethyl- and 1,3-Dichloro-2,3-bistrifluoromethyl-cyclopropene

Birchall, J. Michael,Burger, Klaus,Haszeldine, Robert N.,Nona, Shmaiel N.

, p. 2080 - 2086 (2007/10/02)

Both the title compounds may be obtained from the reaction of dichlorocarbene with hexafluorobut-2-yne; the 3,3-dichloro-compound is isomerised to the 1,3-dichloro-isomer by heat, light, or chemical catalysis, but conditions are described for the preparation of either pure cyclopropene.Treatment of either isomer with antimony pentafluoride gives solutions containing the chlorobistrifluoromethylcyclopropenium ion. Both isomers undergo free-radical addition of halogens, but the slow reaction of the 1,3-dichloro-compound with trifluoromethyl radicals gives a mixture of products.Diels-Alder reactions of both cyclopropenes with cyclopentadiene or with furan are described, and the 3,3-dichloro-compound gives a high yield of 'ene'-reaction products with (E)-but-2-ene.
