Usage

Description

Vat Violet 1, Solubilised is a brilliant blue-purple dye that is available as a purple powder. It is soluble in water, with its aqueous solution exhibiting a purple color. When exposed to concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns green, and upon dilution, it transforms into a red-purple hue. The oxidation rate of Vat Violet 1, Solubilised is considered medium, and the color development is slightly slow. This dye is primarily utilized for dyeing and printing on cotton fabrics. It is also suitable for dyeing and printing on silk, polyester/cotton blended fabrics, and can be used for spelling dye noise.

(a) in the presence of Pyridine , with Chlorosulfonic acid treatment C.I. Vat Violet 1 leuco; (b) in the Pyridine with metal (such as copper, iron, zinc, etc) and Sulfur trioxide source (such as Sulfur trioxide, Chlorosulfonic acid or Methyl chlorosulfonate, etc.) processing C.I. Vat Violet 1. The above two kinds of situation after alkaline, filter out insolubles, remove Pyridine and salting out.
