Description
alpha,alpha-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-4-(methylphenylamino)naphthalene-1-methanol is a complex organic compound with a unique molecular structure. It is characterized by its brilliant red light blue color in its natural state (NC raw lacquer). alpha,alpha-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-4-(methylphenylamino)naphthalene-1-methanol is soluble in cold water and becomes more soluble in hot water and ethanol, particularly when it exhibits a blue color. When it comes into contact with concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns yellow brown, and upon dilution, it turns green before reverting to its original yellow brown color. When its dye aqueous solution is mixed with sodium hydroxide, a purple brown precipitation occurs. alpha,alpha-bis[4-(dimethylamino)phenyl]-4-(methylphenylamino)naphthalene-1-methanol has a stable melting point and exhibits poor light fastness and heat resistance, with a maximum heat resistance of 110℃. It is insoluble in water, sodium carbonate (5%), and hydrochloric acid (5%).

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1325-85-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,3,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1325-85:
(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*5)=65
65 % 10 = 5
So 1325-85-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
