1326-49-4 Usage
Description
Sulphur Orange 1 is a yellow orange to red orange colored dye, which appears as a yellow brown powder. It is insoluble in water but has good solubility in sodium sulfide solution, resulting in a yellow orange color. The dye is slightly soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid and experiences a slight change in dyeing content when in an alkaline insurance powder solution. When exposed to sodium hypochlorite solution, the dye almost completely fades. Upon the addition of concentrated sulfuric acid, the color changes from yellow brown to brown.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Sulphur Orange 1 is used as a dye for textiles, providing a vibrant and long-lasting color to fabrics. Its moderate to severe resistance to acid and alkali, as well as its light fastness, make it a suitable choice for various textile applications.
Used in Leather Industry:
Sulphur Orange 1 is used as a dye for leather, offering a durable and attractive color to leather products. Its resistance to fulling, perspiration, and soaping ensures that the color remains intact even under harsh conditions.
Standard:
The standard for Sulphur Orange 1 is as follows:
Acid Resistance: ISO 3-4, AATCC 3-4
Alkali Resistance: ISO 4, AATCC 4
Light Fastness: ISO 2-3

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1326-49-4 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,3,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1326-49:
(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*4)+(1*9)=64
64 % 10 = 4
So 1326-49-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
