1326-82-5 Usage
Description
Sulphur Black 1 is a green black and blue black uniform powder that is insoluble in water and ethanol. It exhibits good solubility in sodium sulfide solution and undergoes various color changes when mixed with different chemicals. It is primarily used for dyeing cotton, vinylon/cotton blended fabrics, and can also be used for dyeing hemp and viscose fibers.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
Sulphur Black 1 is used as a dye for cotton, vinylon/cotton blended fabrics, hemp, and viscose fibers due to its ability to produce green black and blue black colors. It offers moderate to severe acid and alkali resistance, as well as good light fastness, making it suitable for various dyeing applications.
Standard:
The standard for Sulphur Black 1 includes the following ratings for various properties:
Acid Resistance: Moderate (ISO 4-5, AATCC 5)
Alkali Resistance: Severe (ISO 4-5, AATCC 5)
Light Fastness: 6-7 (ISO, AATCC)
Fulling: 4-5 (ISO, AATCC)
Perspiration Fastness: 5 (ISO, AATCC)
Soaping: 4-5 (ISO, AATCC 4-5)
Preparation
2,4-Dinitrophenol?or its Sodium salt (by 1-Chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene alkaline hydrolysis) and Sodium polysulfide heating, in 110 ~ 120 ℃ reflux heating 48 to 72 hours, or in 130 ~ 140 ℃ under pressure to short time heating, then dilution melt, adding acid or air oxidation make dye completely precipitated out. In the molten material to the intermediate Sodium polysulfide proportion must be appropriate, such ability in reaction end solution almost no dye residual. According to dye the preparation process of the use conditions, has determined the empirical formula is C24H16N6O8S7 orC24H16N6O8S8

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1326-82-5 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,3,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1326-82:
(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*8)+(1*2)=65
65 % 10 = 5
So 1326-82-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
