The invention discloses a rhodamine hydrazine Schiff base derivative and a preparation method and application thereof. The rhodamine hydrazine Schiff base derivative has a general molecular formula asshown in (I). The preparation method comprises the following steps: enabling a rhodamine compound, cholamine and absolute ethyl alcohol to react at the temperature of 75-85DEG C for 8-12h, then cooling to room temperature, and filtering; dissolving an obtained solid in a tetrahydrofuran solution; adding a reductant, and stirring at the room temperature for 1-8h; adding water for quenching, and extracting by dichloromethane; adding hydrazine hydrate and ethyl alcohol into an aldehyde group rhodamine compound obtained through column chromatography, and reacting to obtain the rhodamine hydrazineSchiff base derivative. The rhodamine hydrazine Schiff base derivative obtained by the preparation method has selectivity for hypochlorite and can be qualitatively and quantitatively detected.
