SOLUTION: There is provided a compound having a chemical structure represented by formula (1), wherein R1 and R2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms which may be substituted with at least one halogen atom, with the proviso that at least one of R1 and R2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; n is an integer of 1 or more and 5 or less; and * is a binding site with a rhodamine-based dye such as 5-carboxytetramethyl rhodamine or 6-carboxytetramethyl rhodamine or derivatives thereof.
