Description
Trisodium antimonate(3-), also known as sodium antimonate, is a white powder with a chemical formula of Na2OSb2O5.1/2H2O. It is produced by oxidizing antimony trioxide in a basic medium, resulting in a compound with an antimony content of 61-63 wt%. Trisodium antimonate has a bulk density of 39.4-46.4 kg/m3, a specific gravity of 4.8, and a fineness of 99.75% through a 74 um (200 mesh) sieve. When dissolved in water, it exhibits a pH of around 9-11.
Uses
Used in Polymer Industry:
Trisodium antimonate(3-) is used as an antimony synergist for polymers that hydrolyze when processed with acidic additives or in polymers for which deep color tones are specified. Its unique pH and low refractive index make it the most desirable synergist in these applications.
Used in Pigment Industry:
Trisodium antimonate(3-) is used as a pigment in formulations where deep tone colors are required. Although its pigmenting strength is less than that of antimony trioxide, it is recommended for use in applications that necessitate a darker color tone. Due to its lower antimony content (62 wt%) compared to antimony trioxide (83 wt%), somewhat higher concentrations are needed to achieve the same effectiveness.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 15593-75-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,5,9 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15593-75:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*5)+(4*9)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*5)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 15593-75-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
