15792-50-4 Usage
Description
ACID ORANGE 63 is a red powder that is soluble in water, resulting in an orange-colored solution. It exhibits good discharge performance and is primarily used for dyeing and printing on wool, silk, and their blended fabrics.
Uses
Used in Textile Industry:
ACID ORANGE 63 is used as a dye for [application reason] the coloring of wool, silk, and their blended fabrics. It provides good performance in terms of light fastness, soaping fastness, perspiration fastness, oxygen bleaching, and fastness to seawater.
Standard:
ISO (Wool): Light Fastness 5, Soaping Fastness 4, Perspiration Fastness 5, Fastness to Seawater 4
AATCC (Polyamide): Light Fastness 4-5, Soaping Fastness 4, Perspiration Fastness 4
Chemical Properties:
ACID ORANGE 63 is a red powder that is soluble in water, and its solution is orange in color. When added to sulfuric acid, it turns red and forms a precipitate, which disappears when diluted. In nitric acid, it turns orange. The addition of hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide to its water solution results in a darker color and lustre. The product does not change color or lustre when exposed to copper ions and chromium ions, but it turns dark colored upon encountering iron ions.
Preparation
2-Amino-5-(4-aminophenyl)benzenesulfonic acid double nitriding, respectively with the 4-(3-Methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzenesulfonic acid and phenol coupling, then use 4-Methylbenzene-1-sulfonyl chloride esterification of hydroxyl phenol.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 15792-50-4 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,5,7,9 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 15792-50:
(7*1)+(6*5)+(5*7)+(4*9)+(3*2)+(2*5)+(1*0)=124
124 % 10 = 4
So 15792-50-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
