The invention provides a water-soluble triarylboron compound as well as a preparation method of the triarylboron compound. The triarylboron compound with excellent selectivity to ATP (adenosine triphosphate) can serve as an ATP fluorescent probe, which can be used for detecting in-vitro ATP after being mixed in an aqueous solution or a buffer solution. Without the help of any carrier, the triarylboron compounds can permeate a cell membrane to enter cells and can be use for intracellular ATP imaging. The fluorescent probe has the advantages of efficient specificity, light stability, wide response range and the like.
