Tetrazine-PEG5-NHS Ester is a PEG linker containing a tetrazine group and an NHS ester, which is highly reactive with amine (NH2)-containing molecules. It features a hydrogen-substituted tetrazine that enables exceptionally fast click reactions with trans-cyclooctenes (TCO), generally at least 10-fold faster compared to methyl-substituted tetrazines. The aqueous solubility of this reagent is significantly enhanced by a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol (PEG) spacer arm.
