Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 16925-39-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,6,9,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 16925-39:
(7*1)+(6*6)+(5*9)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*3)+(1*9)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 16925-39-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A low-temperature synthesis route for CaAlSiN3 doped with Eu2+
Kubus, Mariusz,Meyer, H.-Juergen
, p. 669 - 671 (2013)
A new low-temperature synthesis route of the strongly red-emitting Eu 2+ activated nitride phosphor CaAlSiN3 is presented. The fluorides CaSiF6 and AlF3 were used as a source of metal ions and Li3N as a nitrogen source. A KCN/LiCl flux system was employed to lower the temperature of the reaction from 1100 to 750 °C. The course of the reaction was studied by differential thermal analysis, and the product of the reaction was inspected by X-ray powder diffraction and luminescence measurements of CaAlSiN3:Eu.
