The structures of the biflavones 7,4′,4?-tri-O-methylamentoflavone (1) and 7,4′-di-O-methylamentoflavone (2) isolated from the leaves of Taxus baccata, have been determined by the use of DQF-COSY technique which gives an unambiguous assignment of the position of hydroxyls and methoxyls in biflavones. 10-Deacetylbaccatin-III has been isolated in 0.01% yield.
