Hydrogermylation and hydrostannylation of 2- and 2,3-substituted 1-vinylpyrroles and 1-vinyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindole was performed for the first time.A similar hydrosilylation reaction was carried out for comparison.Hydrostannylation proceeds in the absence of a catalyst.The total yield and the ratio of the adducts depend on the nature of atom M in R3MH (M = Si, Ge, Sn).The regioselectivity of the reaction is affeceted by the nature of the substituent at the M atom, as well as by the presence of a substituent in the 3 position of the pyrrole ring.
