General Description

Pterodontic acid is a chemical compound extracted from the Pterodon genus plants, particularly from the species Pterodon pubescens, well known in South America. It is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. The compound is actually a mixture of two esters derived from geranylgeranoic acid.
