The invention relates to a preparation method for orcinol glucoside. The preparation method comprises the following steps: allowing orcinol to react with different substituted acetylated glucose underthe action of proper acid or alkali so as to obtain orcinol tetraacetylated glucoside, and deacetylating the orcinol tetraacetylated glucoside under an alkaline condition so as to obtain the orcinolglucoside.
