General Description
1,2-Dihydro-1-oxo-5-isoquinolinecarboxylic acid (also known as Cotinine) is a primary metabolite of nicotine, found predominantly in the urine of tobacco users. It is the most typically used biomarker to measure exposure to tobacco smoke, both in active smokers and in individuals exposed to passive smoke. The chemical compound is valuable in the medical field for research studies on nicotine dependence and tobacco-related diseases, and has a much longer half-life compared to nicotine, therefore, allowing for its detection over a more extended period. It is categorized as an alkaloid and is neither carcinogenic nor addictive. Its molecular formula is C10H9NO2.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 212374-18-0 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,1,2,3,7 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 212374-18:
(8*2)+(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*3)+(4*7)+(3*4)+(2*1)+(1*8)=100
100 % 10 = 0
So 212374-18-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

PARP-2 is a member of the poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase family, with some activities similar to those of PARP-1 but with other distinct roles. Two series of isoquinolin-1-ones were designed, synthesized, and evaluated as selective inhibitors of PARP-2, usin
