2,6,8-trimethylquinoline, also known as TMQ or Toluquinone, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C12H9N. TMQ is commonly used as an antioxidant in the production of rubber products, particularly tires, to prevent oxidation and degradation caused by exposure to air and sunlight.
