General Description

5-PIPERIDIN-1-YL-THIOPHENE-2-CARBALDEHYDE, also known as PTCA, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C11H13NOS. It is a yellow solid with a molecular weight of 203.29 g/mol. PTCA is commonly used as a building block in the synthesis of various pharmaceutical and agrochemical compounds. It has also been studied for its potential use in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and as a fluorescent probe for detecting amino acids.
